1 Shirt + 1 Pair of Jeans = 3 Aprons

I read a post off of Pintrest on how to make an apron out of a shirt gabrielsgoodtidingsmens-dress-shirt-repurposed-to-apron .  I thought I would add some pockets and trim for my version.  A few months ago I had made an apron out of an old pair of jeans, and thought maybe I could use some of the left over fabric from the shirt to make one of these.  Well that still left the whole back of the shirt, so I thought what the heck, let's go for a third apron out of the front of the jeans and the remaining shirt.

The instructions are pretty long, and there are a lot of pictures for each apron, so I separated them into three individual posts.
To make these you will need:

  1. A mans shirt.  I would suggest using a large or even extra large, mine was a medium and a little extra fabric would have been nice.
  2. An old pair of jeans.  A larger size is also best for these.
  3. 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric.  I had a black silk remnant I bought for something else that I never used.
  4. 1 spool of ribbon for trim.
  5. Coordinating thread, and some fabric glue.  (The picture shows some seam binding, but I ended up not using it.)
Well I think they all turned out pretty cute.  What do you think?
